In this video, I'm gonna give you a quick video tutorial, of the web monitoring platform that you're gonna use, to monitor your system, to make sure that it's up and running, the way it's supposed to be and to monitor the production. Your system has SMA inverters so you're gonna go, to the ennexOS.sunnyportal.com/login website, where you'll be asked to put in your username and password. You should have been provided a username, and password from you installers. If you don't have your login credentials, reach out to your installer. Exploring Your Dashboard and Devices
Dashboard Overview and Customization
You'll notice that right away, you are taken to your dashboard, and you can see on the left hand side over here, you have a navigation pane where you have your dashboard, you have monitoring, analytics and configuration. Currently, we're looking at the dashboard, and you can always come back to the homepage, by clicking on the little house on the left here. What you see on your main dashboard is configurable. It is up to you. Currently, you'll see everything. You'll see the power of the system, the date it was commissioned or turned on, it's an on grid system, you'll see the devices and their status. Over here you can see there are four inverters, on this system and one data manager. They're all listed here with the green check mark, meaning they're operating correctly. You can see the energy and the power from the system, it was updated seven minutes ago, weather conditions at that location, and you can see the CO2 avoidance or offset. All of this information that you see on your dashboard, you can choose whether or not you wanna see it or not, by clicking on the three buttons over here, that says configure dashboard and you can turn on and off, some of these modules that you don't wanna see. If you're not interested in the weather, or the CO2 avoidance you can turn those off, and you will not see them, or if you wanna see everything that you're seeing here, you can pick and choose, totally customizable for you. So, you can configure your dashboard just the way you want to.
Viewing Individual Device Details
To the right of that in the next tab over, you can select a device and you can look at each device, and see details about that device. You can see I selected inverter number one. You can see it's a Sunny Boy 6.0 inverter, along with the serial number, the power, the device state it's operating correctly, and the power and CO2 avoidance for that as well. And just with each of the devices in your system, you can also pick and choose what information, you'd like to see in the dashboard for that particular device.
Analyzing Energy Production and System Performance
Understanding Energy and Power Monitoring
Going back down to the monitoring tab over here, you can click on the energy and power, and that's where you'll be able to see exactly what your system is producing. SMA really has great flexibility on their charts. They give you an overview in the top section over here. You can see this was updated eight minutes ago, producing 299 watts. Over the last 24 hours it's produced 30 kilowatt hours, the last seven days, 30 days, 12 months, and total all in these overview section at the top here.
Graphing Options and Data Export
As you scroll down into this section, you can pick and choose whether you wanna look, at a daily graph, weekly graph, monthly graph or annual graph. And it'll show the data accordingly. If I switch this to a week, you can see that almost a perfect solar day over here, but each day of the week individually, you can show as I mentioned, a monthly graph, that'll show you the days of the month, starting off with the first, today's the 23rd. A few more days left in the month, but you can see how your system is producing on a daily basis throughout the month, and of course you can drill down to yearly, as well as total since the system was installed. And so great details over here. You also have the ability to download some of this data, if you wanted to into Excel, or a comma separated CSV file. And you can also come down and look at and can do some annual comparisons, versus this year versus last year on your system.
Advanced Features and Support
System Configuration and User Preferences
And there's a configuration tab where you'll be able to change some of your address if you wanted to or personal information in that tab. On the top right hand side over here, there's information if you're looking for any information or you wanna see the user manual or the version over here. You can find that in the information tab. If you have any notifications, you'll click on the bell to find notifications, and if you have multiple systems, more than one array, and you wanna sort through your systems, you could enter the system name in here, and it will search between those systems. And of course in the top right you'll see your name, and you can go in and configure your personal data in here - update your name, address, whether you wanna see data in metric or imperial. That information is personalized and under your username as well.
