Meet the Enphase App

use the icons at the bottom of the screen to navigate between the four main pages of the app.

Monitoring Your Energy System

Status Tab

let's start by looking at status monitor your system from the status tab from your home screen each time you open the app look at a snapshot of how your energy is being used and access shortcuts to the system profile at the top of the screen you'll see general information like the weather date and system status if you have a home battery in your system you'll also see your current grid connection charge level and the selected profile in the center an infographic displays how much energy is moving through each part of your system and where it's going at the bottom the grid dependent score displays how much of your power is coming from your utility grid you can click this small icon and then click switch to energy Independence to view your energy Independence score that shows how much of your power is coming from your own home Energy System instead of the utility grid you can also view your net energy production which displays if you are net importing or exporting.

Live Status

tap Live status to view the real-time performance of your system Live status is similar to your home screen status with a few key differences instead of updating every 15 minutes this infographic updates every second and displays how much power is being made used or transferred between your home solar panels batteries and the Grid at any given instant.

Energy Tab

tap energy to learn about your system performance look at Trends in your system performance from the Energy tab check how much you made and used from your solar panels battery and the grid a summary of your data is at the top use the chart below to dive deeper into each data point view your trends for any date range including by billing cycle to look at specific detail toggle the inputs you want to see on the graph below your Trends learn more about the impact of your home Energy System see your grid dependent score or energy independent score based on what you choose to view and the currency equivalent that displays the estimated value of the solar power you've produced.

Array Tab

Next let's look at the array tab view the details and performance of all the panels in your system from the array tab see each device's individual status and information again you can customize the date range for your systems data at the top.

Managing System Information and Reports

Last Tap menu settings and controls help you get the most out of your system with set it and forget it options or granular controls for the clean energy expert.

System Page

Reports

if you want to generate your systems report tap on reports select the type of report you want and set the parameters and click on the email report button you will get the generated report sent on your registered email with nase.

if you need to find information about a specific part of the system tap devices to view each component's information tap each page to view the list of devices for some you can also change Hardware settings here if you have a storage system you can access the Live status from here too in live vitals you can access live detailed data of your IQ System Controller and individual IQ batteries if you want to look back at specific events tap event history to look at recorded system events and changes tap each event to view its details like the start and end date impacted device description and recommended action if you want to look at times when your system powered your home during an outage tap backup history to look at outage information.

Customizing Your Enphase System Settings

navigate to the settings page to adjust the controls of your nphase system.

IQ Battery Profiles and Storm Guard

if your nphase energy system has an IQ battery tap profile to select a profile that meets your primary energy goal when enabled storm guard automatically monitors the severe weather conditions as per the local weather departments in your area when detected storm guard switches your profile to full backup and charges your battery to 100% to help ensure your home stays powered.

Savings Profile

savings profile helps maximize savings on your electric bill by relying on the battery to power your home at times when electricity is more expensive setting up your electricity rate is needed to use this profile but we'll cover that in the next section.

Advanced Battery and Rate Management

Self-Consumption Profile

self-c consumption aims to power your home with as much solar energy as possible by storing it in the batteries during the day and powering your home with it whenever the sun isn't shining.

Full Backup Profile

full backup keeps you prepared by reserving 100% of the power in your battery for outages your batteries will charge from solar panels whenever they need to top off.

Battery Settings

let's return to the settings page and click on battery to manage your battery settings you can toggle this option to enabled if you want your batteries to charge from the grid whenever required as per your selected battery profile you can also set up your battery shutdown level percentage during a power outage it will shut down your batteries when they reach a set charge percentage to conserve some energy which will help them to restart when the utility grid restores power or solar panels start producing energy.

Electricity Rate Management

add your electricity rate to use the savings profile and estimate the value of the energy you've produced tap electricity rate and then add electricity import rate.

Configuring Electricity Rates and Grid Control

Import Rate Setup

use autofill or manual option to add your rate have your electric bill handy for both options with autofill simply select your utility and tariff name or code it might also be called a rate schedule or structure on your bill then select next verify the information on the confirmation screen and save to complete.

Export Rate Setup

once you've added your electricity import rate follow the same steps to add your electricity export rate.

Grid Control

last in the settings page grid control lets you turn your connection to the Grid on and off this is an advanced feature so we don't recommend using it often to toggle your grid connection complete the verification process by entering a four-digit code will'll send via email and text to the phone and email connected to the account once verified your system will disconnect or reconnect to the grid.

Account Management and Support

menu manage your account check your notifications get help and always stay up to date on the newest features in the app.
